Experience and Education


Bachelor degree in related field and five (5) years of IT or clinical experience working in a medical practice environment with strong EPIC experience with advanced EPIC training, strong communication skills, and detail oriented related experience, including two (2) years' experience in supervisory capacity are required.

Job Duties


1.Responsible for all EPIC front-end and clinical training teams for ambulatory clinic staff, nursing, APPs, and physicians.  Responsible for developing learning objectives and developing measureable competency metrics for attendees.
2.In collaboration with the Ambulatory Governance, responsible for the development and implementation of ambulatory electronic documentation workflows to enhance clinic workflows, streamline patient throughput, and increase use of electronic medical record.
3.Responsible for developing best practice workflows using lean principles and patient centered practices focusing on patient satisfaction, patient throughput, efficiency in documentation, and high quality outcomes.
4.Participates as a key workflow and training stake holder in the Ambulatory Quality Program and the roll out of clinical quality metrics for each clinical setting.
5.Serves as Ambulatory liaison for EPIC design and build decisions that impact workflows in the ambulatory clinical practice.  Acts as a subject matter expert in EPIC clinical documentation and training.
6.Performs other duties as assigned.
