The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, is seeking applicants for an Infectious Diseases physician. Applicants must have an M.D. degree, or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school, and have satisfactorily completed an Internal Medicine residency program, and an Infectious Diseases fellowship program, from an ACGME accredited program. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Level of appointment will be commensurate with applicable experience. The primary roles and responsibilities will be to provide patient care on the Infectious Diseases Inpatient Transplant Consult Services at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital and in the Parkland and UTSW transplant clinics. Other duties can include sharing attending duties on General Internal Medicine, HIV and Bone & Joint services. Participation in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and ID fellows is also expected.
