The UT Southwestern Advanced Imaging Research Center is recruiting a PhD with five years of experience. The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research program in molecular imaging with emphasis on the use of responsive MRI contrast agents to image biological events in vivo. The candidate should be trained in small animal imaging, MRI data analysis, and animal physiology and anatomy. The candidate will collaborate with other faculty in the AIRC and elsewhere on campus on the use of MRI and other molecular imaging modalities to image biological processes in animals in vivo and translate basic biological approaches to clinical applications.
