The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an Assistant Instructor. The candidate must have an MD or MD/PhD degree and be eligible for a Texas medical license. Duties will include working on inhibitory immune receptor family under the mentorship of Dr. Alec Zhang (Department of Physiology) with the support from UTSW Physician Scientist Training Program (PSTP). Current research focus includes identification of ligands for this immune receptor family and how they contribute to the formation of bone marrow microenvironment and, ultimately, hematopoiesis under normal and disease conditions. No more than 20% time will be spent doing clinical work. Competitive salary will be provided.
