The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Surgery, Division of Burn Trauma and Critical Care is seeking qualified surgeons at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Our faculty service Parkland Memorial Hospital, an ACS Level 1 Trauma Center with over 3,750 trauma admissions annually. The SICU admits over 2,400 patients to a unit staffed by members of the
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching and scholarly activity. Responsibilities will include sharing call on the trauma and emergency surgery service performing over 50 operations weekly, critical care and resident and student education.
