The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dallas, Texas, is seeking a physiatrist specializing in brain injury medicine to join our practice. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with level of experience.  The Department of PM&R includes 26 board-certified physiatrists, as well as 33 residents and 4 fellows. We have busy inpatient and outpatient practices at UT Southwestern as well as at our teaching county hospital, Parkland Health and Hospital System.

Qualifications: Candidates must be board admissible or board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Advanced training in a PM&R brain injury medicine fellowship is preferred. Texas Medical License is required.

Duties include: Provide direct patient care activities at UTSW facilities and PHHS including inpatient rehabilitation unit, outpatient clinics, TBI and trauma consults services; take a leadership role in the development of the PM&R concussion clinic and associated research; participate in PM&R resident and fellowship teaching and research activities; provide contracted medical director services to transitional unit.
