Experience and Education
Assists managers with development and implementation of operational plans for new and existing business computer applications, including preparation of user specifications.
Coordinates testing of new applications and changes to existing applications to ensure integrity and quality of data while providing and/or assisting in training of system users.
Compiles complete, concise, and comprehensive policies and operation procedures to assist in communicating Information Resources issues to applicable management staff.
Assists in development of new system administrative procedures required, utilizing new functionality resulting from system changes.
Assists in developing and implementing business Information Resources strategies to improve operational processing and productivity.
Responsible for monitoring development of specifications and establishing priorities for accomplishing design and testing of various projects.
Reviews, develops, recommends, and implements activities related to assigned activity, program, or function.
Maintains and tracks accounts assigned to projects or programs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is responsible for supporting three applications within the Click Commerce framework, electronic Institutional Review Board (eIRB), Conflict of Interest (eCOI), and Outside Activity Employment (eOAE). Additionally, the individual may support other internal Click team processes or functions.
Preferred Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or other related field and experience with business systems and/or project experience with exposure to systems or project development and business requirements gathering, testing, installation, and training. Knowledge of IRB and COI functionality is highly desired as is experience using Click Commerce software.
Serve as customer contact for offices Click team supports.
Support the offices in the use of Click Commerce applications.
Provide training to department users regarding new or changed functionality, when needed.
Develop and document business requirements for any new issues or eResearch applications.
Provide documentation for business processes, work flows, or other business/Click team needs.
Determine test scenarios. Test issue fixes in development. Determine pass/fail.
Update and assist in management of SharePoint change management site with testing status regarding eIRB, eCOI, and eOAE.
Test framework/system upgrades.
Assist in the support of other applications.
