Clinical Educator - Mood Disorders

The Mood Disorders Division in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center is recruiting an outstanding clinical educator to work with our Mood Disorders Network. This position will be at the academic rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful applicant will have experience in the field of psychiatric illness, with a focus on recognition and treatment of mood disorders in primary care and specialty medical clinics. Responsibilities include designing and implementing assessment and intervention strategies to identify mood disorders, collaborating with community providers to assist with identifying and treatment patients with mood disorders, and training community providers about mental illness. The faculty member will be expected to support the work of the Center. Opportunities for teaching exist at the graduate and postgraduate levels.
Candidates must have an MD and/or PhD degree, postdoctoral clinical and research experience, and a track record of publications relating to mental illness with a focus on mood disorders and integrated care. Texas licensure is preferred; candidates without Texas licensure must be willing to obtain a Texas license.
