The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pathology is seeking an academic clinical microbiologist for its Pediatric Pathology Division (housed at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas) at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. The applicant must have an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or Ph.D., and be certified by the American Board of Pathology and/or American Board of Medical Microbiology. If appropriate, the candidate must be eligible for a Texas medical license. In addition to pediatric patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program.
