ACADEMIC CLINICIANS FOR PSYCHIATRY ATTENDING POSITIONS:
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department Of Psychiatry is recruiting an outstanding Psychiatrist. The academic rank will be determined based on the candidate’s work and academic experience. These positions will require direct patient care as well as teaching and supervision of psychiatry residents, medical students, clinical psychology graduate students, and other trainees at one or more of several university hospital clinics and affiliated hospitals. Primary clinical assignment may be combined with various other clinical services, clinical research, academic and administrative opportunities to produce a full-time appointment. Candidates must be BC/BE in General Psychiatry and must have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical license. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in pursuing an academic career. Academic experience and a strong track record of clinical teaching is a plus. Additional training or fellowship in a specialty is a plus.
