The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Urology, is seeking an Associate Professor. Applicants must have an M.D. degree, from an approved LCME medical school, satisfactory completion of a Urology residency program from an ACGME accredited program and at least eight years of experience in an academic environment. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure, and be board certified in Urology.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and strong interest and aptitude in patient care, in assuring the training and graduation of excellent doctors through our ACGME - accredited residency.
The selected candidate will work with a highly specialized group of physicians providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary, family-focused urology care. Responsibilities will include both inpatient and outpatient urology clinical care at training institutions affiliated with UT Southwestern and at UT Southwestern clinics and hospitals.
