Experience and Education


High School graduation supplemented by successful completion of vocational training in computer programming and eight (8) years experience in computer operation and/or programming including at least one (1) year as Programming Analyst II or equivalent. 

Job Duties


Defines and analyzes business and/or scientific problems of most complex types which require programming expertise for their solution.     
Coordinates user personnel and other computer professionals in analyzing and defining such problems for computer solutions.      
Works with Central IT organization (Information Resources) to ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures.      
Designs computer system to accomplish solution of each problem and integrating computer capabilities with user requirements.      
Approves selection of modification of programs or program systems including structure or restructure of data formats.      
Estimates resources required for project and planning purposes; schedules computer hardware to provide more economical use of existing equipment.     
Directs implementation of systems or job streams.       
Performs other duties as assigned.
