Director, Interventional Cardiology

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, seeks to recruit a Director of Interventional Cardiology. Candidates must have an MD degree, or equivalent, from an LCME-approved medical school, be board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, and be eligible for Texas medical licensure. Level of appointment will commensurate with experience. This individual will lead our Invasive and Interventional cardiology programs across our campus. The successful applicant will have excellent technical skills in the catheterization laboratory, leadership ability to head a dynamic section, and evidence of a productive research program. There is significant opportunity to participate in teaching and training of fellows and residents. This is an outstanding opportunity for an academic cardiologist to assume a major leadership position at our institution.
