The Department of Clinical Sciences and the Moncrief Cancer Institute seeks applications for faculty with a research focus on reducing chronic disease prevalence in communities. The ideal candidate will build the Research Program for Moncrief Cancer Institute. The right candidate will be a part of the Department of Clinical Sciences a unique, interdisciplinary home for population science, clinical research, and development of novel research methodologies. Intra- and inter-disciplinary collaborations are encouraged and facilitated.
Qualifications include a doctorate degree (Ph.D., M.D., Dr.PH, or other) in social or public health, or other relevant fields (rank open depending on experience). The right candidate will lead all areas of cancer control research at Moncrief and develop a team of faculty to create a nationally recognized program. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and advanced expertise in research design and methodology. Candidates will need a record of funded research and publications.
