Experience and Education


Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of experience in marketing, product development, communications, and/or advertising.  At least 5 of these years must be specialized in marketing and strategic planning in a corporation or agency, as well as experience with providers or health insurers

Job Duties


1.  Provides leadership and management of strategies and programs aligned with SWHR's growth objectives and vision of advancing innovative health care solutions.
2.  Develops and oversees plans and strategic initiatives to engage and influence a wide variety of internal and external stakeholder, which responsibilities to present objectives aligned with organizational needs, identify approaches, sequence work, and manage resources.
3.  Interacts in a collaborative manner within Market Relations and across the SWHR continuum to define program needs and requirements related to stakeholders, while serving as an internal consultant that drives change management.
4.  Functions as UT Southwestern leader in standing-up SWHR brand, serving in a primary role with the SWHR Network Implementation Committee, which directs and implements strategies on behalf of SWHR's Network Brand Committee (one of four standing committees that part of the SWHR governance structure, with a budget that exceeds $1.5 million).
5.  Consults with UTSW and THR leadership to influence, plan, organize and implement initiatives.
6.  Provides analysis and support for the design, development and implementation of products and services.
7.  Builds vision and mechanisms to identify, create and disseminate broad range of creative assets and educational efforts, such as print materials, presentations, newsletters, digital strategies, advertising, events, etc. This includes overseeing SWHR stakeholder engagement and business development services, providing expertise to organize and manage resources (vendor and/or staff) to carry out strategies and tactics.
8.  Responsible for the design, execution, and system of internal controls, which provide reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable.
9.  Directs service policies and identifies operational workflow requirements to execute strategic initiatives.


**Other Duties:  Performs other duties as assigned.
