Due to continued growth, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Faculty Associate in Audiology. Responsibilities in clinical audiology include provision of a full range of audiological services to patients of all ages. Principal duties include: diagnostic audiological evaluation, electrophysiological testing (ABR, ECoG, VEMP), vestibular evaluation (ENG/VNG, vHIT, platform posturography, sinusoidal harmonic acceleration), otoacoustic emissions and universal newborn hearing screening. Potential specialty service area opportunities, as department needs and patient volumes allow, include: hearing aid evaluation and dispensing, bone anchored hearing system and cochlear/auditory brainstem implant services. Opportunity for clinical research exists. The candidate must have a masters or doctoral degree and a license in Audiology for the State of Texas.
