The University of Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is seeking a Faculty Associate clinical speech-language pathologist. The successful candidate should have training and at least 3 years experience in the evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders, including head and neck cancer patient population. Ability to independently perform Modified Barium Swallow studies, FEES, videostroboscopy, and acoustic analysis is required. Experience and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of voice disorders is also required. Successful candidate will work within a growing multidisciplinary team of laryngologists, Head &Neck surgeons, neurologists, and speech pathologists. Additional responsibilities include educational outreach and participation in research. The candidate must have a master’s degree and must be eligible for or hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and licensure from the state of Texas.
