Metabolism in Biochemistry and disease
The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center invites applications for INSTRUCTOR position in our Departmental Metabolomics Facility. We seek scholars with Ph.D. or equivalent degrees, with a minimum of 3 years post Ph.D. experience, demonstrated scientific accomplishment, and with the potential to perform outstanding research in metabolomics. The primary responsibility of the scientist will be to develop and implement metabolomic profiling methods using a SCIEX 6500 QTRAP LC/MS/MS and a SCIEX 6600 Triple/MS Q-TOF LC/MS. Applicants should have experience with method development, including preparation of biological samples, chromatographic separation, mass spectrometry and data analysis.
