The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics seeks academic neurologists with expertise in Movement Disorders to join the faculty at the assistant professor level. Applicants should have completed at least one year of fellowship training in the field of movement disorders from a reputable institution. The successful applicant will be highly skilled in the clinical evaluation and management of patients with movement disorders. Proficiency in the use of botulinum toxin injections is desirable, but is not required for this position.
The Department of Neurology and Neurotherapeutics maintains an active Movement Disorders program with abundant opportunities for clinical research as well as patient care. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and should be board certified/board eligible neurologists committed to excellence in clinical care of patients with movement disorders.
