The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking outstanding individuals to join the faculty as part of a multidisciplinary Cardiac Intensive Care Program at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Dallas.
Responsibilities will be in the areas of Clinical Research and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit is a collaborative venture between Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery. It accommodates the 600 cardiac surgeries performed yearly. There are also active programs in echocardiography, cardiac MRI, electrophysiology and cardiac catheterization. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible or certified in Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric Cardiology. Academic title will be commensurate with academic credentials. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time status.
