Full/Part Time/PRN: Full-Time
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking Professor, Research Track. The position requires and M.D./Ph.D. or Ph.D. in a basic science with a successful existing research program and outstanding publication record focused on the regulation of cardiomyocyte substrate utilization and oxidative stress. The position will develop independent and externally funded as well as collaborative research programs and will need to apply for grant funding with the first year. The position will also have graduate student, housestaff, and fellow teaching and training responsibilities.
