The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychiatry Mood Disorders, is actively recruiting full-time Psychiatrists and Psychologists to provide mental health services for participants in our clinical research programs. This is an open rank position; academic rank of appointment will be commensurate with experience.       The UT Southwestern Center for Depression and Clinical Care (CDRCC), under the leadership of Madhukar H. Trivedi, MD, has been at the forefront of developing treatment standards for depression and bipolar disorder. In addition to examining novel treatment strategies and improving outcomes with the use of systematic, measurement-based care, the CDRCC led the largest study to date examining appropriate treatment sequences for depression.  For more than two decades we have researched new models to improve depression treatments, and using that knowledge, we now reach out beyond UT Southwestern to improve the lives of people suffering with depression and mood disorders. The CDRCC continues to develop new clinical programs and cutting-edge research to improve the lives of people living with depression and mood disorders.  With the implementation and creation of both our existing and new programs, we aim to boost routine screenings; expand treatments beyond medications, therapy, or TMS; and facilitate communication between primary care and mental health professionals both to increase awareness and prevent depression.   REQUIREMENTS:   PhD:  Candidate must hold a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or school psychology from an APA accredited program and be licensed to practice in TX or license eligible.  MD:  The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain a Texas Medical License, must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry.   Interested applicants should submit a letter of application, a CV, and names and contact information of three references to:
