The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatic Diseases, is seeking a Rheumatologist. Applicant must have a M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME-accredited medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. The applicant must have demonstrated knowledge and ability to diagnose and treat patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid syndrome and related autoimmune diseases, including their management during pregnancy. Candidate must be eligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Rheumatology. Academic rank will be awarded commensurate with credentials and experience. Duties include providing and supervising patient care in ambulatory and hospital settings at the University and its affiliated hospitals, in addition to the teaching and training of medical students, house staff, and fellows.
