Experience and Education


Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or public health and three (3) years project consulting and matrixed matrixed management responsibilities in complex organizations.  

Job Duties


Performs financial analysis on any type of planning project i.e. strategic, new targeted business, JV, etc), with the employees who may include one or more types of participants: Health System Planning team members, other UT Southwestern Medical Center employees assigned or participating in specific projects, and third party external participants in projects.  
Performs the following types of analysis which include, but are not limited to:  revenue projections, operating expenses based on volume and other metrics, capital debt amortization and NPV analyses, volume projections based on market analyses, demographic projections, clinical incidence rates, and historical volume, payor, revenue, and operating and staffing expense analyses.  
Accesses and utilizes clinical and financial data from various data sources (Eclipsys hospital systems, IDX for Faculty Practice, Epic Scheduling, departmental systems, etc.).     
Provides financial and planning support to Clinical Service Line leaders and Faculty Practice leaders in the evaluation of opportunities and development of strategies for growing profitable volume, as identified in the overall Health System strategic plan.    
Develops and manages work plans to meet target dates and deliverables.      
Performs other duties as assigned.
