The Department of Ophthalmology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our team. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Requirements include an M.D. degree or equivalent, successful completion of an approved residency in ophthalmology or neurology, fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology, eligibility for Texas licensure, board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Ophthalmology or the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. The successful applicant will share in the clinical care of patients in our neuro-ophthalmology faculty practice, and in didactic and clinical training of residents and fellows. Interest in clinical or translational research, as well as an interest in comprehensive or subspecialty surgical ophthalmology, are welcomed but not required.
