Job Summary
Reviews and abstracts clinical data as outlined in the SEER, ACoS-CoC, and State Cancer Registry manuals. Abstracts a minimum of six abstracts per day (1abst/1.15hr). Identifies information necessary for follow-up to maintain follow-up according to ACoS Standards.
Must be committed to quality and the achievement of excellence by maintaining a 98% accuracy rate.
Attend at least one state, local, regional or national meeting annually and complete necessary educational training to stay current in data reporting requirements.
Must be familiar with National Treatment Guidelines for each specific type of malignancy.
Must be able to comprehend and multi-task between various hospital computer software and other data base programs; displays knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Uses attention to detail and organizational skills, and is able to work other duties as assigned.

This job is remote only and individuals who reside in the job will permanently work 100% from an alternate approved worksite.
Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimum require prior approval of the Vice President for Human Resources, or his/her designee.
