Psychiatry Multispecialty Outpatient Clinic
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, Division of Psychology, is seeking outstanding applicants for a licensed psychologist faculty position with interests in clinical care, education, and research. The selected candidate’s primary responsibility will be outpatient clinical evaluation and psychotherapeutic treatment of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and general psychiatric diagnoses in the context of transition to adulthood. The clinician should be especially familiar with evidence based treatments for major psychiatric issues of young adults, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorders, and, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder. This position may also have opportunities to participate in teaching and/or supervision in other areas of the Department, including our APA accredited Clinical Psychology doctoral program.
