UT Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pathology, is seeking an accomplished academic physician with board certification and subspecialty training and expertise in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine. The applicant must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO, be board certified, and have or be eligible for a Texas medical license. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic credentials and experience. Significant experience in therapeutic apheresis and expertise in cellular therapy is highly desired. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available with members of basic science and clinical departments throughout UTSW.
