Job Summary

As an important member of the UT Southwestern team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the recruitment strategies for leadership roles at the Director level and above. In this recruiting role you will drive all aspects of executive recruitment through proactively sourcing candidates, providing superior and proactive customer service, and by anticipating client and customer needs. A strong recruiter will demonstrate a high-level of professionalism, will have the ability to network and connect with leaders, and the ability to think creatively. As an Executive Recruiter, you will work closely with UT Southwestern leaders and community stakeholders to develop talent pipelines to support the needs of the organization to help market and negotiate leadership roles here at UT Southwestern.

Job Duties

• Manage and recruit for the executive and professional recruiting activities to employ, place or transfer managers, professionals, technicians, or support staff.
• Manage the TA activities of the institution to employ staff.
• Evaluate criteria and testing techniques to ensure compliance.
• Support Internal Audit, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) standards.
• Ensure the TA process is conducted efficiently and in accordance with UTSW policies and standards.
• Create TA reports and compile statistics.
• Create, update, and maintain document spreadsheets for tracking and auditing.
• Develop, revise, recommend, and interpret polices and procedures for division and employees to ensure laws and guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all employees and job applicants are treated in an equitable manner.
• Manage UT System Diversity Recruiting rules and goals.
• Assist departments in reorganizing processes and procedures, develop staffing patterns, develop advertising campaigns, and or TA plans.
• Research target industries, campaigns, organizational structure, and individuals.
• Cultivate relationships with external associates, business search firms, and manages third party relationships.
• Promotes the TA and selection of a diverse executive workforce.
• Responsible for networking and promoting the organization to community partners and managing community sponsored events.
• Responsible for managing and coordinating intern programs across the organization.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field
• Six (6) years of progressively responsible human resources
• Experience with C-suite recruiting, candidate negotiations, and proven experience in creative and innovative sourcing strategies
• Experience may be considered in lieu of education
