Education and Instruction Librarian (Faculty-Associate)
The University of Texas Southwestern Health Sciences Digital Library and Learning Center seeks to hire an Education and Instruction Librarian to provide and grow our library services by developing innovative information solutions to primarily serve the faculty, staff, and students of the School of Health Professions, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and other areas. This librarian will also work as an information expert alongside faculty, staff, fellows, residents, and students in the School of Public Health, School of Medicine, School of Health Professions, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and/or the University of Texas Southwestern Health System.
The successful applicant will be able to take advantage of a highly flexible work environment, build partnerships with user communities primarily engaged in research and clinical activities, and develop new services and curricula. This individual will join the library’s Research and Education Librarian team to engage with UT Southwestern’s academic community. The team is currently embedded in medical, allied health, graduate school, and graduate medical education. The position reports to the Manager of Services and Partnerships.
