UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant II, Biophysics.
The Department of Biophysics is seeking a professional, proactive, and positive individual to join our team in the position of Senior Administrative Assistant II.
Place orders as needed for department labs, administrators, and supplies for Glass wash area. Assist labs in follow-up on orders not received. Add new vendors in Peoplesoft. Monitors Biophysics Admin email and disseminate emails to applicable administrative staff. Schedules department conference rooms as well as various meetings. Enters department Service Requests and ensures completion of requested tasks. Ensures MyTime non-exempt biweekly timecards are up to date and adds information as needed. Maintains MyTime spreadsheets for approvers. Orders keys and lab coats for new employees. Assist in special projects including department retreat, holiday potluck, etc.
Ideal Applicant
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, extremely organized, demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, have a background in administration, as well as the ability to think critically with a proactive approach toward problem solving, and operate with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, with customer service focus.
