JOB SUMMARY
Working under the direct supervision of Biomedical Engineering leadership the Biomedical Equipment Tech I follows designated program outlined for the acceptance, maintenance, safety, performance verification, and efficiency of biomedical equipment used for patient care with supervision and guidance from experienced team members. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the maintenance of medical devices, referencing industry and institutional policies, procedures, and standards within our UH Hospitals and Clinics. Works under supervision of designated team lead and/or Supervisor.
