PRN Administrative Supervisor for Hospital Operations.Registered Nurse House Supervisor experience preferred.
Experience and Education
Support clinical, operational and facility services throughout the entire Hospital on a 24-hour basis, coordinating operations and personnel activities to meet Hospital and Health System objectives. Intervenes and problem solves for inter-/intra-departmental issues, facilitating interdepartmental communication, negotiation and decision-making. Maintain visibility with hospital staff through rounds.
Organizes hospital operations and systems delivering services in a manner that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements, demonstrating judgment and self-sufficiency in effective problem solving while serving as the administrative and operational resource
Oversee patient care flow while redirecting and allocating resources by determining necessary space, equipment, supplies and support systems to ensure effective functioning of unit/department & assisting Patient Access Services in coordinating patient placement.
Investigate patient/visitor concerns and implements appropriate courses of action, taking corrective action in situations requiring immediate intervention and optimizing service satisfaction of patients, families, physicians and staff.
Provide on-site management/leadership of crisis situations to prevent or minimize disruption of services. Function as on-site coordinator for internal/external disasters/inclement weather or other major events.
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to foster delivery of quality care, communicating issues identified by front line staff to appropriate administrative team and assisting staff in identifying clinical experts for specific patient population concerns.
