The position is clinical, and will focus primarily on providing clinical consult-liaison support throughout the hospital. The secondary role of the position will be provision of targeted psycho-interventional programming and neuropsychological screening on the 18-bed Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in the hospital. The Inpatient Psychiatry Unit serves a range of acute and chronic issues, including depression and psychosis. There is also a significant subset of geriatric patients with neuropsychiatric conditions. The unit will also be part of an expanding substance use disorder treatment continuum. Competitive candidates for the position will have training and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Consult-Liaison Psychology, Health Psychology, Inpatient care, SUD treatment, Motivational Interviewing, group therapy, neuropsychological screening, and personality assessment.
