The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, is seeking a Pulmonary and Critical Care physician with experience in pulmonary hypertension, postoperative critical care, ICU management of lung failure with postoperative lung transplant patients. Applicant must have an M.D. degree from an an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship from an ACGME accredited program. Candidate must be eligible for Texas Medical License and be board certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine. Duties include providing and supervising patient care for lung failure patients in the ICU before and after lung transplant, management of post-operative transplant patients in the ICU, performing bronchoscopic procedures, and the teaching and training of residents and subspecialty fellows. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
