The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics, is seeking an outstanding individual for the Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Division at the UT Southwestern and Childrens Health Dallas.

The Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Division covers a Pediatric Pulmonary Ward and consults throughout the hospital, Pediatric Emergency Room, PICU, tertiary level NICU and outpatient clinics at the Children's Health Dallas, ranked in the top 10 specialties by US News and World Report. Childrens Health Dallas is the primary pediatric teaching hospital of UT Southwestern and includes all pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties. Participation in the educational program for Pediatric residents, fellows, nurses and medical students is expected. UTSW is one of the world's foremost research institutions with six Nobel laureates, more than any other medical school in the world. Excellent support is available for clinical and basic sciences research. Training in Sleep Medicine is available, if desired. Candidates should have a proven record of academic success, as well as a commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and both basic and clinical research. Candidates must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas and must be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Pulmonology. Academic title will be commensurate with academic credentials. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time status.
