The clinic has a diverse population mix focused on adult orthopedics & conditioning. An OCS is beneficial but not required for the position. New graduates are welcome to apply. Seeking candidates eager to contribute to our dynamic team in building our practice and implementing new programs. A great opportunity to seek out and develop personal goals professionally and clinically. The position is 100% clinical, but there is a feel of our PT school academic mission and environment. Outpatient clinic experience in a moderately fast paced environment is a benefit. Should be customer service & team oriented and willing to do whatever is needed to serve our patients. Interaction with physicians is common. Multitasking and managing multiple patients at a time will be needed. Opportunities may include working with clinic management to develop or deliver patient education programs within the clinic. There are potential opportunities for clinically working with students in the future, if desired.
Experience and Education
Administers prescribed treatments, modifying such treatments as indicated by patient's reaction. Applies diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests. Directs and aids patients in treatment programs.
Evaluates, records, and reports patients' progress fo review by supervisor or other members of rehabilitation team. Assists with record keeping as necessary to meet requirements of accrediting agencies. Participates in training medical and nursing personnel and students in physical therapy techniques and objectives. Participates in rounds, clinics, and meetings as needed.
Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
