Experience and Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of professional experience in one or more areas of human resources.

Job Duties


Assist in providing general HR support to assigned customer group. Answering HR related questions, provide coaching and counseling as appropriate. Triaging as needed. Assist in the coordination of Employee Relations related activities, forwarding documentation to the Employee Relations department for final approval. Maintain various HR reports and metrics. Support the HRBP in execution of HR/Simmons key initiatives. Create and maintain operations manual Serve as backup to the HRBP, as needed

Provides full range of support in functional areas of human resources including, but not limited to, Benefits, Employee Relations, Workers' Compensation and Leave Administration, Recruitment, Compensation, and Organizational Development and Training.


Counsels, advises, and works with staff, supervisors and managers to identify and resolve personnel issues and improve workforce performance and effectiveness.


Coordinates the administration and confidential investigation of workers compensation.


Assists with benefit administration.


Provides guidance to staff and management regarding interpretation of policies and practices affecting various divisions in human resources.


Provides various reports upon request. Assists with statistical reports.


Assists in ensuring accuracy of information.
