The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pharmacology invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The department has a long history of outstanding accomplishments in studying cellular regulatory mechanisms using multidisciplinary approaches, including biochemistry, genetics, structural biology, chemical biology, and diverse model organisms. The Department currently has strong research programs in cell signaling, metabolism, cell cycle regulation, organelle trafficking, cancer biology, and parasite biology. We are particularly interested in outstanding candidates who wish to study molecular mechanisms of fundamental biological processes. Competitive applicants must have a relevant Ph.D. or M.D. degree and postdoctoral training, and show promise of developing a vibrant, independent research program.
