The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology, is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist with a focused clinical and research interest in thoracic oncology malignancies. This position will be considered a clinical scholar with effort equally split between providing patient care and conducting clinical research. Applicants must have an M.D. degree or equivalent, from an approved LCME medical school, and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency program from an ACGME accredited program. Level of appointment will be commensurate with experience. Candidates must be eligible for Texas medical licensure, be board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology, and have experience and focused interest in melanoma research and treatment. It is expected that the candidate will participate in clinical patient care, clinical research and the teaching and training of medical students, house staff and fellows.
