Postdoctoral Research Training
Postdoctoral scholars are recognized as crucial participants in keeping UT Southwestern at the forefront of biomedical research. The objectives of our Postdoctoral Training Program are to extend the traditional best practices of postdoctoral training in biomedical sciences and to make available new initiatives to improve training. The ultimate goal is to provide a structured program to aid the transition of each trainee to career independence through the development of research and professional skills.
Strong Foundation in Science and Professionalism
Our award-winning faculty lead scientific professional societies and sit on boards of biomedical companies and editorial boards of scientific journals. You will train in our state-of-the-art laboratories while participating in our postdoctoral certificate program, which includes both research and professional development courses. UT Southwestern trainees have access to more than 40 core facilities, as well as entrepreneurial learning and resources through our Launchpad program.
