The Finest Patient Care Facilities
William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital
Engineered to be at the vanguard of patient-centric care, the 460-bed William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital was recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission in its first full year of operation. Opened for patients in 2020, the newly renovated 12-story third tower serves as the clinical home for the Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute and adds operating rooms, interventional suites, a newly expanded Emergency Department, and two new parking facilities. The project enhances both the quality of care and the efficiency of delivery to accommodate growth. As a hospital within an academic medical center, Clements University Hospital is a centerpiece for carrying out UT Southwestern’s three-part mission – to heal, innovate, and educate. It’s a place where the intellect, skill, and science of UT Southwestern are translated into the delivery of compassionate patient care.
Zale Lipshy Pavilion
The 148-bed Zale Lipshy Pavilion is one of the world’s premier neurological diagnostic and treatment centers and has been certified as an Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. In addition to the neurosciences, it is also a treatment center for spine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurotology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and other services.
Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center
Designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) in 2015 as a comprehensive center, Simmons Cancer Center is the only cancer center Back to Table of Contents 37 in North Texas to attain this prestigious status, which the NCI bestows in recognition of innovative research and excellence in patient care.
Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute
A recognized leader in neuroscience and behavioral health, at the O’Donnell Brain Institute comprises scientists and physicians who are using the most sophisticated equipment and techniques available to advance knowledge about the fundamental mechanisms of brain function – and are providing the very best in innovative clinical care possible today.
Beyond offering unsurpassed technology, our Radiation Oncology Building, which opened in 2017 and is already adding an adjoining building, provides care in an environment designed to promote hope and comfort to those being treated for some of the most challenging illnesses.
West Campus Building 3
The 305,000-square-foot academic and clinical building, which opened in 2018, contains one of the largest simulation centers in North America for training the physicians of tomorrow and to help today’s health professionals continuously hone their skills.
Community and Specialty Care Clinics Throughout North Texas
