Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years managing a medium size hospital or clinic related project; plus five
Advanced degree may be used in lieu of years of experience on a year for year basis
Job Duties
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ø Strong skill set or knowledge in healthcare related medical equipment.
Ø Works with minimal supervision.
Ø Adept at learning on job as well as teaching and mentoring others.
Ø Has basic understanding and skills related to general electromechanical systems and devices.
Ø Has basic understanding of operations and environments supported such as hospital, clinic, etc.
Ø Has general knowledge in assigned clinical environment.
Ø Has basic understanding of common clinical terminology and that of life sciences such as anatomy and physiology.
Ø Is knowledgeable about both local and national public safety and regulatory issues.
Ø Can successfully support solutions of organization-level customer service issues and complaints, especially those that apply to area of specialty.
Ø Has basic knowledge of general medical surgical equipment.
Ø Has working knowledge of clinical equipment such as radiological, laboratory, and networked medical systems.
Ø Has strong knowledge in medical equipment planning, procurement, and project scheduling.
Ø Prior experience with activating hospitals, clinics, or outpatient facilities (preferred).
Ø Basic knowledge of state procurement processes and procedures preferred.
Ø Has strong knowledge of project management terminology and methodology.
Ø Has strong understanding in construction related planning, this includes schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Ø Must have the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical site specific drawings.
