The Department of Pathology of UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an accomplished Academic Molecular Pathologist with subspecialty training and expertise in Molecular Genetic Pathology. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Candidates must possess an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or DO; BE/BC by ABP or AMBBM in AP, AP/CP, Molecular Genetic Pathology, or Clinical Molecular Genetics and Genomics certification; and be eligible for or hold a Texas medical license, if appropriate. In addition to patient care activities, the incumbent will be expected to participate in medical student and house staff teaching and develop or continue his/her research program. Outstanding opportunities for collaborative, translational research are available with members of basic science and clinical departments throughout UTSW.
