The Department of Physician Assistant Studies is currently seeking outstanding applicants for an academic position in the School of Health Professions at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Responsibilities include a combination of classroom, small group and clinical teaching; Student mentoring and graduate project advising; Admissions activities; Curriculum development and evaluation; Participation in professional scholarly and clinical activities; Service on assigned institutional committees.
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited PA Program
• An earned Master’s degree
• Current NCCPA certification
• Eligibility for Texas PA licensure
• Prior experience in PA education is preferred
Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
