With more than 300 physicians, UT Southwestern has one of the largest pediatric groups Texas. Our clinical expertise includes rare and complex conditions, along with well-care for children. The Pediatrics department is hiring for a Sr. Department Data Analyst. This role will help develop and update clinical stats and productivity reporting for the Department of Pediatrics utilizing Excel, Access, and Power BI. With the wide variety of reports, some reports will include manual data input while others are automated reports, or a mixture of the two. This role would be helpful to know how VBA works and how to edit VBA in both Excel and Access documents. This role will also deal processes that use Power Automate and SharePoint. One large project that is in process is to convert some reports to Power BI. This role works collaboratively across teams, departments, and outside entities to get data set up and extracted as needed. Automation will be a priority with data and reports via VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI, etc. This person needs be a critical thinker and inquisitive. This position is hybrid, the ideal candidate will live in the Dallas metroplex and be willing to relocate.
The ideal candidate will have critical thinking skills, as well as be inquisitive and able to find trends “outside the box”. This individual needs to have a statistical/analytical background. Additionally, this candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Information Management, Healthcare Information, Statistics, Business or closely related field and five (5) years data management/analyst experience.
