UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant, Pathology.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining faculty calendars, appointments and coordinating meeting schedules; handling office procurement; processing faculty travel and expense and associated reimbursements; facility arrangement; taking meeting set-up, minutes. Also responsible for inventory, tracking and filing slides post-test completion; serving as liaison and coordination of consultation requests from outside facilities; delivery of clinical reports to HIM for upload into hospital EPIC system; communicate and follow-up with physicians to ensure patient documents are complete prior to testing. This position will also act as lab customer service representative and routinely check emails for test requests and provide patient progress status updates to clinicians. Assist director with research activities and growing consult practice responsibilities, along with support of 3 other Pathologists. This administrator will also act as liaison to assist Anatomic Pathology Director and Department QGenda Specialist with the development and related maintenance, of the Master Surgical Pathology on-call schedules that sets the QGenda rotation schedule for our anatomic pathologists at Clements and Parkland Hospitals.
