The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking a full-time time experienced clinical psychologist to lead our neurobehavioral and rehabilitation counseling services division.

The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, chaired by Dr. Heakyung Kim, provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with developing residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the U.S.

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished psychologist, nationally recognized with a strong clinical and academic reputation and who has the leadership competencies to further develop an increasing nationally recognized department incorporating finance and budget, long-range planning, and program development. The candidate will actively engage in, encourage, and foster development of clinical and interdisciplinary translational research and scholarly activity to enhance the academic environment of the rehab psychology section.

This position requires a doctorate in clinical psychology from an accredited university and at least 5 years psychology practice experience.  In addition, the selected candidate must obtain a Texas Psychology License, must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Rehabilitation Psychology and/or Neuropsychology.  Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
