Join UT Southwestern as a Senior Proposal Analyst in the Sponsored Programs department. The Senior Proposal Analyst works on the Sponsored Programs’ Proposal team helping Investigators. They facilitate PIs to successfully submit research proposals & are subject matter experts of eGrants & required compliance areas related to these, including IACUC, IRB, COI & reviewing all formatting requirements. The proposal team often partners with many internal departments, Provost team, Research Administration Systems team, & cross-functional teams in Sponsored Programs to help educate, implement processes & facilitate submissions. This team also works with sponsors or their agents to ensure regulatory requirements are addressed from the funding proposal stage throughout the award life. They also help with close out requirements of IP/invention statements. Heavy deadlines with NIH and other various sponsors requires the need of this position have strong time-management skills to ensure backlogs of the proposals do not occur and it promotes continued research funding.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related field and three (3) years of experience in business, finance, or public administration with emphasis on customer service. Advanced degree, and/or Certified Research Administrator (CRA) designation preferred.
