The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding individual to join the Pediatric Infectious Disease Division in Dallas.
Clinical activities, both inpatient and outpatient, are conducted at the Children’s Health facility in Dallas, a 480 bed hospital that is the only academic health care facility in North Texas dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of children. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.

Candidates should have a financially supported research program in some aspect of infectious diseases including, though not limited to, epidemiology, bacteriology, virology, mycology parasitology, microbial pathogenesis, immunology of infectious diseases, microbial biology and/or microbial genetics or genomics. UTSW offers outstanding collaborative research opportunities.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease. Candidates should also be an accomplished teacher in the field. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
